Prime Video’s fantasy drama Good omens will no longer have a full third season to close the story. The series will now conclude with a 90-minute episode.
The series was put on hiatus following sexual assault allegations made against the creator and writer Neil Gaiman. Not long after, Gaiman offered to step away from the series so it could continue.
Although Gaiman helped write the series finale, he will not work on the production and his production company, Blank Corporation, is no longer involved. A new writer will arrive to finish the job.
It’s a shame we won’t get a full third season of Good Omens, but at least the story the series has been telling will have an ending. Let’s hope it’s an ending fans will enjoy!
In Good omens, Michael Sheen plays Aziraphale, a demanding angel and rare book dealer, while David Tennant plays the fast-living demon Crowley. The series is also the protagonist Jon Hamm, Miranda Richardson AND Francesca McDormand.
This fantasy series sees Aziraphale and Crowley team up to form an unlikely duo. The two have become overly fond of life on Earth and are forced to form an alliance in an attempt to stop the approaching Armageddon.
What do you think? Good omens end with a 90 minute episode?
