This is the trailer for an upcoming coming-of-age drama titled What we find on the roadwhich tells a story of self-discovery set in the summer.
In the movie, “On TJ’s (Finn Haney) On his 18th birthday, a stranger gives him the keys from his father, last seen when he was taken to prison 8 years earlier.
“With the key is the address of a proposed meeting, 3,000 miles away and in two weeks, so TJ sets out in hopes of repairing his family. The key opens a weathered 1968 convertible, with a coffin welded to the floor.”
“With each subsequent decision, TJ becomes deeper into the mysterious and wondrous landscapes we all traverse: alone, with our tribe, through the changing curves of the road ahead.”
The film was directed by Mr. Chaysen Beachamand the cast also includes Mr. William Sumpter, Catherine Laheen, Paul GuilfoyleAND Partridge RossIt looks like a nice travel movie, with some good performances.
Scatena & Rosner Films (S&R) will distribute What we find on the road in select U.S. theaters on September 20, 2024.
