Fans agree with the actor.
Sean Bean is one of the most talented supporting actors, but the British artist is rarely remembered for his strong performances. The fact is that Bean is known among film fans for one characteristic of his roles: the actor constantly dies on camera.
During his forty-year career, Bean died on screen 25 times – although this is not a record among other actors, fans decided to name Bean the master of death scenes.
The actor was recently asked which of his characters’ murder scenes he considers his favorite. Without thinking twice, the actor chose the death of one of his most famous characters: Boromir from Peter Jackson’s “The Lord of the Rings.”

Jackson decided to kill off Bean’s character already in the finale of the first part of the trilogy – in The Fellowship of the Ring. The brave warrior died after being repeatedly wounded by Uruk-hai arrows while protecting the hobbits Merry and Peregrin in the forest at the foot of Amon Hen.
Before his death, Boromir admitted to Aragorn that he had tried to take the One Ring from Frodo, and so the hobbit had to go to Mordor alone.
On his deathbed, Boromir converted and was buried as a hero.

The death scene will be remembered for years to come by fans of The Lord of the Rings – Bean’s acting talent made this episode a masterclass in dramatic acting. And some fans were puzzled for a long time as to why Bean wasn’t nominated for an Oscar for his performance.
After the release of The Lord of the Rings, Bean died a dozen more times on screen, but it was Boromir’s final monologue that he considers the most significant achievement of his career.
