If you are a fan of Author: Kathryn HahnAgatha, you’ll be happy to know that you can expect to see more of her after the events of the upcoming Disney+ series. Agatha for life.
Executive Producer Brad Winderbaum recently told Screen Rant: “When you have an icon like Kathryn Hahn [and what she] brought Agatha to the screen, you can’t wait to see more.
“So yes, there will be more Agatha in the future. [of] MCU, yeah. It’s in an episode of What If…? season 3 – I shouldn’t say more, but it’s one of my favorite episodes ever, and it might include the giant musical number, and it’s just incredible, and we all want to see more of it.”
Agatha for life is set after the events of WandaVision. In this series, Agatha “embarks on a dangerous and mysterious adventure filled with trials and tribulations.” Agatha Harkness finds herself “down and out after a suspicious goth teen helps her break free from a twisting spell.
“Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches’ Road, a series of magical tests that, if passed, reward a witch with what she lacks.
“Together, Agatha and this mysterious teenager form a desperate group and set out on a journey down, down, down the Road…”
It will be interesting to see where this story takes her and what other stories it could create for her future in the MCU.
Showman Jac Schaeffer (WandaVision) directs the pilot episode and the cast includes “a diverse and motley crew of witches” and those witches include Patti LuPoneThe Lilia, Sasheer ZamataI’m Jennifer, Debra Jo RuppSharon, and Ali AhnaAlice is.
The rest of the cast includes Joe Locke, Mary Dizzia, Paul Adelstein, Miles Gutierrez Riley, Okwui Okpokwasili AND Aubrey Square.
Marvel Television Agatha for life will debut September 18 at 6:00 p.m. PT/9:00 p.m. ET, with the first two episodes, exclusively on Disney+.
