Amazon MGM Studios has released the first image from the movie “I Play Rocky”, starring Anthony Ippolito as Sylvester Stallone, according to Deadline.

In the photo, Ippolito is seen wearing a vintage Rocky Balboa look – dressed in gray cropped sweatpants, a thermal T-shirt and black Chuck Taylors – running along the beach with a man who resembles Butkus. Obviously, this footage isn’t intended to capture the atmosphere of the Philadelphia shooting, but it does show that Ippolito’s Stallone was still in character during the filming break.

In I Play Rocky, Anthony Ippolito played the young Sylvester Stallone as an actor before he became mega-popular. Ippolito is known for his role as another iconic 1970s Oscar-winning Italian, Al Pacino, in the Paramount+ miniseries The Proposal. She also starred in Netflix’s popular movie Purple Hearts.

Its worldwide box office gross exceeded $1.7 billion, including spin-offs. The series, created by and starring Stallone, began in 1976, and the original film won the Oscar for Best Picture.
