Within the Netflix catalog there are several LGBT+ series that bring same-sex love stories to the digital screen as in the case of ‘Smiley’, one of the new productions of the streaming giant which after its premiere became very popular as in the case of ‘Heartstopper’ but its story is quite different.

This new love series is set in Spain and features the lives of two completely different men who, by a comical accident, combine their lives and start trying to have a romantic relationship but discover that things are not as easy as in the novels or in Hollywood films.

With a Spanish production, Miki Esparbé and Carlos Cuevas star in this film new romance series which has become very popular on social networks for having a story outside the classic clichés of love and takes a much more real look at same-sex relationships while delving into the drama of uniting the lives of two completely different people.

‘Feel good’

With two seasons available on Netflix, this is one of the most original LGBT+ series on the streaming platform. Played by comedian Mae Martin in the company of actress Charlotte Ritchie which is part of season 4 of ‘YOU’. This is a story that mixes romance with the drama of everyday life and how a relationship has to go through different circumstances besides the happy moments.

“Heartstopper”

Among the most famous hits of Netflix In 2022, there is this popular youth series based on a graphic novel, where two students learn to discover their sexual orientation and experience butterflies in their stomachs for the first time in their lives. Above all, “Heartstopper” has two more seasons confirmed.

‘Please, I like you’

Unlike other LGBT+ series in this list, ‘Please like me’ is not a Netflix original production, however you will find its 4 seasons in which the life of a man is told who, after ending a romantic relationship with his girlfriend, she realizes that he is actually gay and starts living her new life.
