Kim Kardashian decided to respond to critics who discussed the new image of her 12-year-old daughter North West with artificial tattoos and piercings.
On the joint TikTok account that Kim runs with her daughter, the star emphasized that there was no reason to worry. “This is such a small issue,” Kardashian said.
Earlier this week, North showed off an experimental new look in a TikTok video that received nearly 5 million views. The girl showed off the star tattoo under her eye, her name on her cheeks and the artificial piercing on her nasal septum. The look was completed with blue streaks in her hair, henna patterns on her hands, and black grills on her teeth.
North hastened to reassure subscribers, stating that all elements of her image are temporary. “Fake piercings and fake tattoos,” she wrote in her post. Despite this, some users found the transformation shocking, while others defended the girl and reminded her that such experiments with her appearance in childhood are quite normal.
Let’s remember that North is the oldest of Kim and ex-husband Kanye West’s four children. The couple also has children Saint West (9 years old), Chicago West (7 years old) and Psalm West (6 years old). Kardashian notes that North already has a strong sense of style and self-confidence, so she often dresses in her own style without paying attention to the opinions of others.
Note that this isn’t the North West’s first time in the spotlight. In August, the girl was seen having dinner with Kim at a restaurant. Internet users were shocked by North’s new look: long blue hair, miniskirt, tight corset
