This 2-hour fan film HALLOWEEN AFTERMATH bridges the gap between the Halloween kills and the end of Halloween

If you’re still haunted by the messy gap between Halloween kills AND Halloween endsa group of devoted fans created and released a horror film to fill in the blanks.

Is called Consequences of Halloweenand is a two-hour fan-made feature that dives into the unseen years between the two films of David Gordon Greenthe trilogy.

Directed by James Grim and written by Cole Tatham, Consequences of Halloween expands the Halloween mythology while staying true to the tone and spirit of modern films.

The film centers on a survivor of the events of the 2018 Halloween reboot and explores how life (and death) continued in Haddonfield after Michael Myers’ final rampage.

Grim told Bloody Disgusting, “Our goal with this film is to create a deep and thoughtful character study, very much in line with what this timeline has already established in the main films, but with our own twist on things. Consistency and authenticity are the key points of this project.”

This approach pays off Consequences it feels like a love letter to the franchise rather than a cheap imitation. What’s even more impressive is that it’s completely free to watch on YouTube. According to the filmmakers, “No single individual or entity involved has, nor will ever profit from the distribution of this film, it was made solely for the love of the franchise.”

The film has already garnered over 250,000 views on YouTube and counting. The creative team behind Consequences they are also not new to this type of passion project as they have done before My Special Boy: A Friday the 13th Fan Film and are currently under development Scream Descent: A movie for Scream fans.

While Halloween ends ended the official story in a controversial way, Consequences of Halloween gives fans something new to sink their knives into: a bridge that honors the timeline and tone while exploring new corners of the Halloween universe.
