Amazon Prime Video has released the first exciting trailer for Sylvester Stallonenext superhero movie Samaritan. This movie sounds a lot of fun as Stallone plays a superhero who was thought to be dead, then comes out of his superhero retirement at his old age because the world has gone to hell.
In the film, “13-year-old Sam Cleary (Javon “I wish” Walton) suspects that his mysterious and lonely neighbor Mr. Smith (Stallone) is actually a hidden legend in plain sight. Twenty years ago, Granite City’s super-powered vigilante Samaritan was pronounced dead after a fiery battle in a warehouse with his rival, Nemesis. Most believe Samaritan died in the fire, but some in town, like Sam, hope he is still alive. With crime on the rise and the city on the brink of chaos, Sam decides to convince his neighbor to come out to save the city from ruin.
This is a fantastic role for Stallone and it will be a solid film worth checking out! Stallone said in a statement: “I love action movies that also have a heart. I wanted to get involved with Samaritan because this story has many levels where I think people can relate. It is a kind of moral tale that is also very exciting to watch. Samaritan era is headed by Giulio Avery who was previously at the helm Gentleman And Son of a gun. The film will premiere on August 26, 2022 on Amazon Prime.
