Apparently after losing to Angelina Jolie in court, Brad Pitt decided to treat himself to new acquisitions. And this time the player did not save at all.

The Wall Street Journal learned that Brad Pitt bought a house on the Pacific coast for $40 million (about 2.3 billion rubles). His new famous mansion, built in 1918, is located on the cliff of Carmel Highlands in California. Earlier, the famous American writer Daniel James lived in it. Since 1999, the house belongs to the Searock company, associated with businessman Joseph Ritchie, who, by the way, participated in the founding of Dialogue, the first hi-tech joint venture in the USSR.
The house is built of sandstone and granite, has arched windows and a Mediterranean-style roof. Residents can also enjoy ocean views. According to the publication, Pitt is a big fan of this type of home.
