The comedy action film ‘Killing Saturday’ is scheduled to premiere on November 12, 2025 on the Prime Video online platform. The new film unites Alan Ritchson and Kevin James, known for their roles in hit television projects, in an unusual duo of stay-at-home dads.
The trailer, which appeared on the official channel of the video service, introduces the viewer to the main characters: Brian (Kevin James) and Jeff (Alan Ritchson). An ordinary day, which starts as a carefree meeting with children, suddenly turns into an exciting ordeal when armed mercenaries enter the house.
Forced to flee with their sons Lucas (Benjamin Pajak) and CJ (Banks Pierce), the heroes become involved in chases and gunfights, and life in a peaceful suburb changes beyond recognition.
The entire humor of the script is based on the criminals being wrongly convinced that Brian knows something about Jeff’s past. As a result, danger hangs over not only the main characters, but also their children.
Despite the tension of events, the film is kept in a comic atmosphere: Alan Ritchson, known for his dramatic roles, appears here in a new role – his character jokes and remains calm even in the most risky situations. In addition to Kevin James and Alan Ritchson, the cast includes Alan Tudyk, Sarah Chalk, Stephen Root and Isla Fisher.
