Anthony Hopkins puts his property destroyed in forest fires up for sale

According to the Daily Mail, Anthony Hopkins has put his California property up for sale after it was destroyed by wildfires that ravaged Los Angeles earlier this year.

The 87-year-old actor is reportedly seeking $6.4 million for two adjacent properties that were heavily damaged in the fire. Anthony first purchased the property in two phases in 2018 and 2019, spending a total of $12.6 million. Despite the heavy loss, Hopkins did not lose his composure. Speaking to The Mirror, he said: “As we all try to recover from the devastation of these fires, it’s important to remember that the only thing we take with us is the love we give.”

It is known that this is not the first time that a star’s house has been in danger of fire. In November 2018, her Malibu home miraculously escaped the Woolsey Fire that destroyed her neighbor’s property. Earlier, in 2000, his London home was destroyed in another fire; Luckily, the actor was in Los Angeles at the time.

January wildfires killed ten people, displaced thousands and completely destroyed the Palisades region. Among the victims were celebrities such as Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal, Diane Warren and Ricki Lake.
