A24 has released the first trailer and poster for The death of a unicorna dark horror comedy with a great cast led by Paul Rudd AND Jenna Ortega. The movie looks like a lot of fun!
In The death of a unicorn“A father (Rudd) and daughter (Ortega) accidentally hit and kill a unicorn while en route to a weekend retreat, where her billionaire boss (Richard Grant) seeks to exploit the creature’s miraculous healing properties.”
The film comes from the writer and director Alex Scharfmann (Resurrection, Lyle), and is also the protagonist Tea Leoni (Jurassic Park III, Spanglish), Will Poulter (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3), Antonio Carrigan (Bill and Ted face the music, Barry), Sunita Mani (Servant, Incandescence), Jessica Hynes (Dawn of the Dead, Paddington2), Stefano Parco (City of asteroids).
The film was also produced by Ari Aster (Beau is scared, Misommar) and master of horror Giovanni Carpenter will compose the music for the film.
The film is scheduled for release in spring 2025.
