“No one knows exactly where the tomb of Cheops is. It is difficult to say whether it is still inside the pyramid. New technologies may give us the opportunity to find out whether the tomb is there,” the archaeologist said.

Let us remind you that the Pyramid of Cheops is considered the largest and oldest among the famous structures of Giza. The original height of this world wonder reached 147 meters.

Experts believe that Cheops’ tomb may be hidden deep within the pyramid and will apparently be discovered in the near future. However, the pharaoh’s mummy was never found.

By the way, it was previously known that mysterious tunnels were discovered under the pyramids of Giza. Scientists scanned the area under the pyramids using a special radar. The results of the study showed the existence of eight vertical shafts going hundreds of meters down.
