Spider-Man: The New Day is a new high-stakes chapter in the MCU that will finally follow Peter Parker (Tom Holland) after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Homewhich ended with Peter essentially being erased from the minds of those closest to him, along with everyone else in the world.
This new film includes Marco Ruffaloit’s the Hulk, Jon Bernthalthe Punisher, Sadie Sink, Tramell TillmannAND Lisa Colon-Zayas in unfamiliar roles and returning co-stars Zendaya AND Jacob Batalon like MJ and Ned, with fewer abilities than before.
But another former co-star is also returning to the franchise, and that’s a little more surprising. According to scoop Daniel Richtman, Tony Revoloriof Flash Thompson will be part New day.
This is pretty surprising, as this character’s role has diminished somewhat throughout the Home trilogy, but another familiar face is pretty fun, and who knows, maybe he’ll actually like Peter Parker when he meets him for the first time… again.
Spider-Man: The New Day will be released on July 31, 2026.
