The first trailer for the film has been released Waltz with Brandowhat stars Billy Zane as Marlon Brando. As you will see, Zane completely transforms into the legendary actor.
The film is based on the memoirs of the actor’s architect, Bernardo judge. in the film, Brando recruits the Los Angeles architect (Jon Heder) to build the world’s first ecologically perfect retreat on a small, uninhabited island in Tahiti.
The story follows Brando “as he filmed Mutiny on the Bounty and bought a small, uninhabitable island in Tahiti. His intent was to escape the fast-paced Hollywood lifestyle and show the world the path to sustainability.
The film will be set between 1969 and 1974, “a period during which Brando was preparing to star in The Godfather AND Last tango in Paris.
“The action will show Brando’s interaction with Judge as they spend time together on the island and make plans for a paradise vacation away from the public spotlight at a time when the actor was one of the most famous people on the planet.”
The film is written and directed by Bill Fishmanwho previously worked with Zane on the 1993 western Posse. It’s also in the cast Camille Razat, Richard Dreyfuss, Alaina Huffmann, Tia CarrereAND James Jagger.
Waltz with Brando will be released in US theaters in 2025.
