Behind-the-scenes video for Netflix’s THE ONE PIECE anime series offers thrilling first look

A behind-the-scenes video has been released for Netflix’s upcoming animated series The unique pieceThe video showcases the work done by WIT Studio for the project and it looks like this is going to be a beautifully animated series.

The video is accompanied by the following note: “Straw Hats, we have some exciting news! WIT Studio has set sail on a new adventure, bringing ONE PIECE to life in a way you’ve never seen before.

“Prepare to immerse yourself in the world of Oda-Sensei through the eyes of director Masashi Koizuka and the incredible team at WIT Studio.”

The One Piece production committee, composed of representatives from Shueisha, Fuji Television Network, and Toei Animation Co., stated that The unique piece “will be distinct from the television anime series,” creating a “new yet familiar experience, utilizing cutting-edge visual technology to reimagine Luffy’s adventures through the beloved East Blue saga.”

One Piece is set in a fantasy world and follows the fantastic adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his pirate crew as they explore exotic islands and endless oceans in search of the ultimate treasure ‘One Piece’ to become the next Pirate King. There is no release date set for this project yet.

The series is inspired by Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece manga and will be different from the current anime series. One of the biggest differences we’ve seen so far is the visual style and it will be interesting to see how the story is handled.
