It was a dream come true for My First Encounter with Channing Tatum to finally get the chance to play the Marvel character Gambit in this summer’s blockbuster, Deadpool and Wolverine.
It’s been a long time coming, after developing the character and trying to get a solo movie off the ground for the last decade, and it was really nice to have him included in the all-star cast, and not just for a cameo, but for a couple of great scenes where we actually got to see him in action.
Tatum was devoted to the role and was getting used to Gambit’s unique moves, which you can see him training for in the video below.
The actor shared the behind-the-scenes clip, which he had been keeping under wraps for a long time, as his appearance in the film was a surprise until opening night.
