Aaron Eckhart AND Devon Sawa will star together in the upcoming crime thriller film project The road of thieves.
Eckhart takes on the role of an Oklahoma stock detective “in the modern-day cattle rustling world of Breaking Bad. Eckhart and Johnson previously collaborated on Vertical’s Chief of Station, currently in theaters and streaming.
The film comes from the director and ex-stuntman Jesse V. Johnson (Chief of Station, Avengement), who states: “Thieves Highway is a passion project for Aaron and me.
“We spent a lot of time developing Travis Mills’ script, embracing real anecdotes and real characters to flesh out a vibrant, action-packed modern crime story.”
Producer Corey Grande (A Ranger) added: “Aaron is building a unique brand starring high-quality genre films, joining the likes of Liam Neeson and Mel Gibson, and we’re thrilled to help raise that profile with Thieves Highway.
“Jesse’s expertise in stunts ensures that audiences will experience the story as if they were in the middle of the action.”
