Fantastic trailer for the second season of Apple’s drama series THE BIG DOOR PRIZE starring Chris O’Dowd

Apple TV+ has released a fantastic trailer for the second season of their sci-fi fantasy drama series The Great Door Prize.

The first season was released in March 2023 and kicked off the story of the residents of a small town whose lives are changed forever by a mysterious machine that suddenly appears at the local store.

When the inhabitants of the town sit inside the machine, they are given a card with their “destiny” written on it and what each one finds sets them on a new path.

The series is the protagonist Chris O’Dowd (Bridesmaids), David West Read (Schitt’s Creek), Gabrielle Dennis (A Black Lady sketch show), Ally Maki (Destroyed), Josh Segarra (The other two, She-Hulk: lawyer), Damon Gupta (Super pumped), Crystal fox (Little big lies), Sammy Fourlas (TikTok Person) e Djouliet Amara (Riverdale).

Season two welcomes new and returning guest stars, including Justine Lupe, Aaron Roman Weiner, Maria Holland, Patrick Kerr, Cocoa brown, Carrie Barrett, Elisabetta Cacciatore, Jim Meskimen, Matt Dellapina AND Melissa Ponzio.

Based on MO Walsh novel, The Great Door Prize season two follows the residents of Deerfield as the Morpho machine prepares them for the mysterious “next phase.” As everyone’s potentials are exchanged for visions, new relationships are formed and new questions are asked.

“Dusty (Chris O’Dowd) and Cass (Gabrielle Dennis) decide to take some time apart while Trina (Djouliet Amara) and Jacob (Sammy Fourlas) discover they can shed their old labels. Giorgio (Josh Segarra) and Izzy (Crystal Fox) find romance while Hana (Ally Maki) and Father Reuben (Damon Gupton) attempt to discover the machine’s purpose.

“The residents of the small town once again find themselves wondering what they thought they knew about their lives, their relationships, their potential, and the Morpho itself.”

The 10-episode second season will premiere worldwide on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 with three episodes, followed by a new episode every Wednesday through June 12, 2024. Check out the new trailer below:
