After getting the big role of Johnny Storm in Marvel The fantastic Four, Stranger things actor Joseph Quinn has boarded an untitled war film set at the A24. That film will be co-directed by Alex Garland AND Ray Mendoza. Charles Melton he’s also on board to star.
Garland and Mendoza have previously worked together on the upcoming film Civil war, where Mendoza served as a military supervisor. The two obviously had great experience working together because not only are they co-directors, but they also co-wrote the screenplay.
There are no details to share regarding the story, but knowing the type of films Garland makes, it will be interesting. Obviously he will also have a strong military theme with Mendoza’s strong involvement in the project.
Quinn’s acting career has really taken off since he played the role of Eddie Munson in the final season of the hit Netflix series Stranger things. This should be a great new role for him to take on. He will also appear in A quiet place: first dayand plays one of the Emperor twins Ridley Scott’s Gladiator Continuation.
