Netflix has released the trailer for their upcoming original romantic comedy Irish longinghero Lindsay Lohan. The film marks Lohan’s second Netflix original film following the 2022 holiday film Falling for Christmas.
Netflix’s description of the film reads:
“When the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend, Maddie (Lohan) puts aside her feelings to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland. Days before the couple is due to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. But as her dream comes closer to fruition, Maddie realizes that her true soulmate is someone else.
As the trailer reveals, Maddie finds herself wondering what she really wants as she meets a charismatic wedding photographer (Ed Speeler). Filmed in Wicklow, Ireland, Irish longing promises plenty of panoramic views that will serve as the backdrop for Lohan’s latest romantic comedy.
The rest of Irish longing the cast includes Alexander Vlahos, Jane Seymour, Elizabeth Tan AND Ayesha Curry. Lohan’s younger brother Dakota is also present in the film. Janeen Damiano is the director, and Kirsten Hansen wrote the screenplay. Brad Krevoy and Michael Damian produce.
The film is currently in production and will stream on March 15. Watch the trailer below:
