A bloody series with a beauty from “It” – for those who have been waiting for the fifth season of “Stranger Things”

Actually, we should start with the fact that the series in question was described by the creator himself as “I would like this series to be the ugly sister of “Stranger Things.” So there is nothing surprising in the fact that the ship got its name when it sailed.

And in fact, comparisons were inevitable, since Stranger Things executive producers Dan Cohen and Shawn Levy play similar roles in I Am Not Okay With This. We’ll tell you more about it in more detail.

Well, first of all, despite the showrunner’s rather flattering and somewhat truthful comparison: “I don’t like this!” nevertheless, it is very, very different from “OSD”, so it rather claims to be the “palm” of a separate project, which makes the series not a pathetic copy, but a completely unique original.

The main role in the project was played by Sophia Lillis (the same beauty from the “It” franchise). A girl is trying to graduate from high school when she discovers that there are more important things to do. Namely: she has telekinetic powers, which, unlike most teenagers, she did not want at all, and does not even know how to control them. By the way, the plot is an adaptation of the comics by Charles Forsman.

It’s interesting that the creator doesn’t care at all that the main characters are “OSD” and “I’m not happy with this!” are being compared over and over again. On the contrary, he seems to be pitting two projects against each other, either for the hype or simply because he has faith in the uniqueness of “I’m not happy with this!”. And the conclusions that loyal and not-so-loyal viewers will draw after watching the show.
