Television presenter Olivia Attwood has revealed how her boyfriend Pete Wicks confessed his secret feelings for her after she separated from her former husband Bradley Dack.
Attwood, 35, and Wicks, 37, were close friends before starting their romance. Speaking in a new interview with Cosmopolitan, Attwood praised Wicks for his emotional intelligence and said he is the only straight man who can keep up with her banter.
"It's the easiest thing I've ever done. We're both in this era where we just want peace and to enjoy life," Attwood told Cosmopolitan. "We tick a lot of the boxes that are really important in adult relationships. Pete's a very rare person. He's very emotionally intelligent. It's quite remarkable."

Attwood admitted that the romance came as a surprise because the pair previously bickered like brother and sister. Once Wicks learned she had separated from Dack, he made his feelings clear, and the relationship developed quickly.
She joked that their shared group of friends is nauseated by their public displays of affection, adding that they are bringing out a new side of each other. The interview comes after the couple went Instagram official last month following months of public speculation.

Fan observations and tributes
Hours before the interview was published, fans noticed subtle tributes Attwood has made to Wicks. Attwood was seen out on Wednesday with her phone displaying a charm featuring Wicks' initials, PW, which followers had spotted in a recent Instagram post.

Followers commented on the detail on social media, describing the discovery as eagle-eyed. The Cosmopolitan interviewer also disclosed that a cozy unseen photograph of the couple serves as Attwood's current phone background.

The initials charm is less permanent than the number 23 tattoo on Attwood's wrist, which she obtained in 2018 to honor Dack's football shirt number. Attwood and Dack announced their split earlier this year, and Dack has recently been pictured with his ex-girlfriend amid claims of infidelity during their marriage.

Television appearance and surgery claims
Attwood also addressed her relationship during an appearance on ITV's This Morning this week. Host Josie Gibson mistakenly suggested Wicks had undergone cosmetic surgery while listing celebrity guests featured on Attwood's television show.
Attwood immediately clarified that Wicks has not had any cosmetic procedures. When Gibson and co-host Paddy expressed skepticism, Attwood insisted that Wicks' features are entirely natural, including his piercing blue eyes, which her mother once suspected were contact lenses.

Reflecting on her recent personal changes, Attwood previously expressed gratitude for the support she received during a difficult year following her split from Dack.
In a social media post, she wrote that she feels like everything is starting to fall into place after a weird up and down year, thanking supporters for standing in her corner.
