Ukrainian actor Andrii Fedinchik has revealed he is not yet ready to start dating again following his divorce from actress Natalka Denysenko.
Speaking in an interview with the Ukrainian news agency RBC-Ukraine, the performer admitted that he is not yet prepared to open his heart to a new romance. However, he made clear that if he were to meet love unexpectedly, he would certainly not hide from it.
The former couple formally concluded their relationship last year after eight years of marriage. They share a young son, also named Andrii, whom they continue to raise together as co-parents, while Denysenko has already remarried, having recently tied the knot with male model Yurii Yaroshenko.
Fedinchik explained that the separation brought an intense wave of public scrutiny and commentary across social media platforms. While numerous internet users posted negative remarks, the actor emphasised that he has developed a clear distinction between constructive feedback and gratuitous hostility.
Handling social media criticism
According to Fedinchik, healthy criticism has value and should be received and evaluated depending on one's own judgment and attitude. By contrast, he described senseless hate as an attempt to throw a person off balance, noting that his approach to online abusers is simply to block the author and move forward.
Career and military service
Fedinchik is one of the most recognisable screen and stage actors in Ukraine, having built a prominent career across television dramas, feature films and voice acting. Following the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he chose to enlist in the Ukrainian armed forces, earning wide recognition as an actor-soldier.
Denysenko is likewise a celebrated Ukrainian actress known for leading roles in popular television drama series and theatre productions. Before their split last year, the two artists had spent eight years as one of the country's best-known celebrity couples.
Despite navigating his personal transition, Fedinchik remains closely connected to Ukraine's screen industry. He previously shared his own list of the actors he considers the finest in Ukraine, highlighting several professional colleagues who remain actively engaged in shooting movies and television serials across the country.
