Who are you, Russian Chalamet? 5 little-known films and TV series with Eidelstein, which conquered Cannes

From war dramas to thrillers about the golden youth.

The general Russian audience got to know Mark Eidelstein after “One Hundred Years Ago” – the film did not become a box office hit, but received thousands of enthusiastic reviews from viewers. The 22-year-old actor made waves all over the world with ‘Anora’ and won the top prize at Cannes, but he already has plenty of interesting roles in his kitty even without these two projects.

In the multi-episode “Bow”, Mark played with the future star of “The Boy’s Word” Ruzil Minekaev, who played a talented violinist from Pyatigorsk, who along the winding path of fate went to work as a distributor of banned substances.

In the series “The Fool Herself” Eidelstein remained on the sidelines of the story about a blind girl and her rebellious sister, who constantly get into various troubles. It is up to the “Russian Timothée Chalamet” and his colleagues to help them get out.

The main star of the scandalous “Monastery” was Nastya Ivleeva, but Mark, viewers assure, played much better than both the blogger and even the experienced Philip Yankovsky, undeservedly remaining in the background of the plot about a party girl who came to hide in it monastery.

The film “The Righteous” received a decent 7.5 points on “Kinopoisk” – the story about a Red Army officer who saved two hundred Jews, immersed in the soul of the audience. At the same time, there’s less of Eidelstein himself in the film than fans would like.

But in the short film “Hopeful Recording Studio” the actor went wild and overshadowed Stas Kruglitsky, Elizaveta Ishchenko and Vlad Konoplev.
