Chewbacca can count worthy projects on one hand.
There are many more films about a galaxy far, far away that are nothing to be ashamed of than TV series. Star Wars fans admire The Mandalorian and turn their noses up at The Book of Boba Fett, but there is a middle ground.
American reviewers from the Times compiled a rating of all multi-part Star Wars shows and refused to include “Acolyte” in them – the audience was so disappointed by this project, which was overflowing with “unconventional” heroes and spit on the lore of the franchise .

The worst, besides “Acolyte”, in the United States was called the project about Boba Fett, the last two episodes of which represented the beginning of the third season of “The Mandalorian”. It seemed that the creators had not found a way to attract viewers other than a popular franchise – the series was not addicted to the plot or the characters.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is once again a disappointment with great ambitions, but it could not be otherwise. The project covered the period between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope and had no chance to provide fans with intrigue because everyone already knew that Kenobi would survive. Not even Darth Vader could save the situation.
‘Ahsoka’ has become a typical average film, which can be criticized on many points, but you hardly get sick from watching it. But the leaders of the list, ‘The Mandalorian’ and ‘Andor’, received minimal criticism from experts.
The series starring Pedro Pascal and Baby Yoda is widely considered one of the most successful Star Wars projects of the past decade, and the Rogue One prequel proved to be an extremely exciting fantasy detective drama.
