Naomi Watts has officially joined the ranks of Hollywood legends – the 57-year-old actress has been awarded a star on the Walk of Fame. She attended the ceremony on Monday wearing a stunning look: a peach dress and bright red lipstick, showing off her impeccable style and signature smile.

During a sit-down with reporters, Naomi admitted that she owes much of her success to her Australian roots. “Australians know how to work hard and at the same time not hide their emotions,” the actress shared. This day was especially touching for her: Watts was accompanied by her husband, Billy Crudup, and her son, Sascha Schreiber, who came to support his mother, even though he was studying at university.
Colleagues and friends came to congratulate the star – Sarah Paulson, Edward Norton, Niecy Nash and director Ryan Murphy. The actor did not hide his joy by laughing with Jack Black. Naomi’s close friend Nicole Kidman was unable to attend in person but sent a touching letter calling her “one of her closest friends.”
