We come to you with good news. We have a long weekend ahead of us in November. And all thanks to National Unity Day, which is celebrated in Russia on November 4. Listen carefully to how we relax, so you don’t complain later that you shouldn’t have set the alarm clock for seven in the morning.

November 4 will be a non-working day like November 2 and 3. And Saturday, November 1st will be a working day, but a shortened one. The fact is that the holiday falls on Tuesday, so it was decided to postpone the day off. So we have a three-day holiday (November 2-4) and a six-day work week from October 27 to November 1. We return to work on November 5th.
The good news doesn’t end there. After the holiday, we will work 3 days a week. However, this year there will be no extra days off until December 31.
Let us remind you that National Unity Day has been traditionally celebrated since 2005. In Russian history, the holiday is associated with the end of the Time of Troubles in Tsarist Russia in the 17th century. Read more about this here.
