When NSYNC returned with the single “Better Place”, many fans asked whether a tour was in the works or not. Joey Fatone revealed that he is looking forward to future live performances with NSYNC so he can share the experience with his two daughters in an exclusive interview with Hollywood life. Joey was talking to HL about working with him with his AirSculpt body contouring treatment when he brought up the possibility of the boy band performing live.
With NSYNC releasing their first single in 20 years in September, it naturally raised a lot of questions about whether there would be a reunion tour or a new album. Joey said undergoing the AirSculpt treatment only attracted more curiosity. “Especially now that I’ve made AirSculpt, people are like, ‘Oh, what are you doing?’ Are you getting ready for the tour? I’m like, ‘Hehe, no!’ “I’m really trying to do it for myself,” he says.
“I think for people who are interested and asking, I don’t think it’s a problem and I don’t mind responding because I hope to get an answer soon,” Joey told HL. “Whether it’s yes or no, I hate to say ‘I don’t know yet,’ but it’s true.”
When I said I was too young to see NSYNC live while they were on tour, Joey said he felt the same way because his daughters hadn’t been able to see the boy band perform either. “I feel the same way – believe it or not – about my daughters. My kids have never seen me perform with NSYNC. So for people who are fans and grew up listening to us, I feel pretty much the same. It sounds strange but it’s true because I want my children to see what I did. They find out. They’ve seen it before,” he says.
Although her eldest daughter briefly caught a glimpse of NSYNC live during her Coachella appearance in 2019 (no Justin Timberlake), he wants her to see everything! “My eldest daughter was the only one who had a chance. She saw when we did Coachella with the four of us, but she was with Ariana Grande. And yes, it was fantastic,” she admits. “But it was really just a song. And we didn’t do our own show or tour. Again, if we have the opportunity to do it, I would love to do it, just because I would love for my kids to see it too.”
While he may not be “ready to tour” with NSYNC just yet, Joey had many positive things to say about the AirSculpt body contouring procedure, which he described as “essentially luxurious and less invasive liposuction.” He also talked about using the procedure as a “jumping point” to begin the exercise.
“I always want to do something to start. Performing this procedure was incredible. Dr. Aaron Rollins was amazing. [He] He explained everything to me,” explains Joey. “The results are crazy, just a month later what the results were like. I mean, my chin, you can see it now. And the crazy thing is that you can’t even see a scar. Or literally, maybe a brand or something you can see. “This is crazy!”

Joey certainly looks great after the AirSculpt procedure, and while he won’t be touring with NSYNC anytime soon, he told us about his show “Joey Fatone and Friends,” where he hosted many guests (including his former bandmates bands). and another opportunity for fans to see it. “I did a show a while back in Tampa, which was kind of a ’90s show with me AJ [McLean] by the Backstreet Boys,” he says. “We’re in talks and will probably do a 15-city tour next year, with AJ and I thinking.”
The “It’s Gonna Be Me” singer also teased what fans can expect from the “little theater” show, which will include “’90s throwbacks” and “a mix of everything else,” including special guests. “You don’t know who’s going to show up there. Lance will probably leave. I had Chris appear too, so you never know who will be at these shows,” he says.
Even as NSYNC fans want more and more from the band, it’s clear that Joey has many plans in the works to give his fans a great experience with a boy band twist.
