Matthew Perry’s family is speaking out about his death and expressing their appreciation to all who remember him.
The actor’s family told TMZ: “We are saddened by the tragic loss of our beloved son and brother. Matthew brought so much joy to the world, both as an actor and as a friend. You all meant so much to him and we appreciate the tremendous outpouring of love.”
Perry died Saturday at his home in Pacific Palisades. He was found unconscious in his hot tub and is presumed to have drowned, although no official cause or contributing factors to his death have been determined. The Los Angeles County coroner will release an official report on the 54-year-old actor’s death.
