Gwyneth Paltrow has recalled the romantic moment she shared with ex Matthew Perry as she joined a host of celebrities to pay tribute to the star following his death aged 54.
The 51-year-old Oscar winner recalls kissing him “in a field of tall grass” during a “magical summer” they spent together, just before he found fame on Friends.
“I met Matthew Perry at the Williamstown Theater Festival in Massachusetts in 1993,” she recalls. “We were both there most of the summer doing plays.”
The Emma star remembered him as “so funny and so sweet and so much fun to be with”, as she hinted that their relationship was more than friendly.
“We went out swimming in creeks, drank beer at the local college pub and kissed in a field of tall grass,” she revealed, adding: “It was a magical summer.”
