Friends fans praise Matthew Perry’s bond with his co-stars in an interview that has resurfaced following the actor’s death aged 54

As fans mourn the death of Matthew Perry, many are looking back at the bond the “Friends” star had with his co-stars.

The 54-year-old’s death was announced on Saturday.

Perry died “after drowning in his home’s hot tub,” sources said Saturday, although no drugs were found at the scene and there was no evidence of foul play.

The actor rose to fame as Chandler Bing in Friends, a role he played for ten years between 1994 and 2004.

The gang reunited in 2021 for a special Friends reunion.

An interview Perry did with co-stars Matt LeBlanc, 56, and David Schwimmer, 56, with Entertainment Tonight resurfaced and revealed the bond between the former cast members that spans nearly two decades since the show ended.

In the video, Perry can be seen waving and putting his finger to his lips to keep his mouth shut on set.

Unknowingly, he stands in front of the camera, even as Schwimmer speaks.

After Perry takes the steps a second time, LeBlanc quietly tells him, “Matty, these are the girls doing an interview,” referring to co-stars Jennifer Aniston, 54, Courteney Cox, 59, and Lisa Kudrow ( 60).

“You’re on camera,” he whispered.

An embarrassed Perry asked the reporter, “Are you in a threesome when you see me do that?”

He added with a laugh that he “looked like an idiot.”
