If your evenings are already filled with cozy blankets and marathon series, add some adrenaline — in October, Hulu is offering an excellent selection of action movies, from the cult Atomic Blonde to the new releases everyone’s talking about.
“Atomic Blonde”

The main star of the selection is Charlize Theron in the movie Atomic Blonde. John Wick director David Leitch delivers a tense spy thriller set against the backdrop of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Theron’s character, MI6 agent Lorraine Broughton, plays a deadly game with double agents and KGB hitmen and proves to be second to none in close combat.
“Die Hard”

The classic Die Hard trilogy is definitely included in the selection, and although the first installments are traditionally associated with the holidays, the third is ideal for an autumn marathon. New York City becomes the scene of deadly mysteries and explosions as Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson face off against a malevolent genius played by Jeremy Irons.
“Kingsman: The Secret Service”

Another hit is Kingsman: The Secret Service, in which Colin Firth trains Taron Egerton as a dapper British spy. Add crazy billionaire Samuel L. Jackson to the mix and you have one of the wittiest and most entertaining movies of the last decade.
“John Wick”

Not without ageless legends – “John Wick” with Keanu Reeves. In the first few minutes of this movie, it’s the touching story of John, a recently widowed man who finds joy and a reason to keep living in the form of the dog his late wife left him.
“Pledge”

Before 2008, the idea of Liam Neeson as an action hero might have seemed ridiculous. But he was the perfect choice to play former CIA agent Bryan Mills. Although Brian is largely estranged from his ex-wife Lenore and their daughter Kim, she is the first and only call Kim makes after she is kidnapped by human traffickers in Europe.
“Alita: Battle Angel”

James Cameron had wanted to make Alita: Battle Angel for years, but had to agree to co-write and produce the film with director Robert Rodriguez. Dr. No one knows for sure who Alita was before she was found in the scrapyard by Dyson Ido. From then on, Alita was reborn and devoted herself to helping Ido and his small circle of friends.
“Rookie”

The hero of The Rookie is as far from a traditional action hero as you can get. Charlie Heller, played by Rami Malek, is an ordinary man who works as a cryptographer for the CIA. He was also happily married to Sarah Heller until she was murdered.
“unknown”

Many of Uncharted’s best action scenes are taken directly from the video games that inspired the film. It’s no surprise that these scenes work so well in live-action blockbusters like this. Tom Holland stars as Nathan Drake, an orphan recruited by treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan with the promise of a potential fortune.
“Faster than a bullet”

Even among action comedies, Faster Than a Bullet is unusually funny. Much of this goes to Brad Pitt’s hysterical performance as the aging assassin codenamed Ladybug. He’s committed enough murders to last a lifetime, but he boarded a bullet train in Japan with other murderers.
“Victim”

The film is part of the Predator series, but standalone prequel Prey puts a nice modern twist on the classic installments. In 1719, Naru is a young Comanche woman who dreams of becoming a warrior like her brother. But the rest of the tribe has neither time nor patience for Naru’s ambitions.
“Aliens”

Aliens was only James Cameron’s second big-budget film, and he confidently transformed the horror of the original Alien into an all-time classic sci-fi action adventure.
