Here it all starts: "I’m at the bottom of the pit…" Summary before July 5 (SPOILER)

Eliott blames Hortense for the way he talked to her. He accuses Greg’s father of being the real problem and regrets that his best friend has deprived him of everything he loves for this wedding. Eliott defends himself by revealing that he has made concessions for his fiancée. It offers a “series” theme for its decorations that delights him.

Clotilde reminds her sister that they had a double beach day in the afternoon. When Rose leaves the room, Joachim has a fit of jealousy and admits that he has felt neglected since the two sisters lived together.

Hortense joins the brigade working on her wedding to show off the candy figures she designed for their wedding. But seeing his sketches, Greg refuses to have such embellishments. Hortense complains to Mehdi that Greg decides everything, which pushes Eliott to accept many things in order not to rob him.

Clotilde recounts the jealousy scene to her sister and does not hide her joy at Joachim’s reaction. Enzo interrupts them and asks if he still has the reins of the pop-up. Clotilde confirms and states that Teyssier agrees. Enzo announces to his brigade that he wants to take Billie and David. Clotilde worries that the young man won’t be able to keep up with his disability.

Antoine at his worst after breaking up

Hortense again complains to Mehdi about Greg. For him, Eliott’s fiancee is too old in his mind. She regrets that she was the only one who made the sacrifice and had to follow Chief Delobel’s directions. Mehdi promises to make wedding figures to put on slices of cake to console him. Hortense promises to dilute his wine.

Joachim asks Antoine how he sees the breakup from Rose. The assistant principal doesn’t hide that she’s at the bottom of the pit and is angry that Rose sees their breakup as a salvation. To change his mind, Joachim offers him a drink together.

Greg makes the seating plan with his father. After discovering the latter, Eliott and Hortense are startled as they are at separate tables over a decision from Greg’s father. Eliott gets a second shock when he sees famous chefs he doesn’t know at the head table. Greg’s father claims they need to take advantage of the event to make contact and show off their work. Eliott refuses to turn his marriage into a networking evening and states that he will not negotiate the point.

Enzo reassures his family that he can edit the pop-up in the summer. He brought Vic to tell the truth about himself. He explains that it was he who forced him to pass his defense and apply for the makeshift restaurant. He assures her that she is a golden girl.

Greg criticizes Eliott for the way he talks to his father, especially because his opinion isn’t all that bad. His fiancee tells him that it’s not just their career in life and that he thinks first of all about his marriage. Greg is pissed that if he let Hortense handle the case, they’re going to have something totally crazy. Eliott prefers to cut the discussion short.

Lionel joins Greg and tells him that Hortense told him everything. He asks his friend if he dared to say no to his father because of Tokyo. Greg admits it is. Lionel advises his father to set limits.

Unexpected surprise gift from Greg’s dad

Enzo’s mom wants to talk to Vic privately. The young woman apologizes for lying and emphasizes that she had no bad intentions. She states that she is Enzo’s friend and that she can always count on him. Enzo’s mother explains to him that she fears her son isn’t paying enough attention to him to prove anything. She asks Vic to call her if there’s a problem.

Greg bursts the abscess with his father. The chef explains that he doesn’t want his friends to be at his table, but rather to be with Hortense and Eliott. She asks him to stop wanting to manage everything. He makes it clear that he wants Eliott to be happy. Her father mocks her by asking if she is still invited to the wedding.

At the Coffee Shop, Rose and Clotilde are approached by a man who left Rose his phone number. Antoine, who arrives at the bar at the same time as Joachim, sees the scene from afar. Annoyed, she turns on her heels.

Eliott and Hortense try on their wedding attire again. They are happy to be together. Eliott admits to his friend that he does nothing but work in Tokyo and only speaks to Greg and his family. He hasn’t made any friends.

Billie and David are very happy to have been chosen by Enzo. However, in the canteen, they realize that the young chef has a distance problem with his chair. He’s knocking over a shelf.

Greg plans a romantic dinner for Eliott and offers to taste the wedding appetizers. They are interrupted by Chief Delobel, who reveals he has a surprise for them. He bought them a house in Tokyo.
