Alexia Laroche-Joubert takes the lead! The famous producer will indeed replace François de Brugada, who took over the young company Banijay Events.
That’s why Alexia Laroche-Joubert became CEO of Banijay France at the age of 53. He is best known for running his own production company, Adventure Line Productions (ALP), which is part of Banijay, and more recently Screen Line Productions, a screenplay production company.
He has to executive produce the TF1 version of Survivor, Koh Lanta, which has aired for over two decades, and Fort Boyard in France 2. Star Academy and Secret Story on TF1, as well as the French version of Big Brother. He was also a member of the screen jury on the show Popstars.
Before joining Banijay, he worked at Canal+ for over ten years and was editor-in-chief at TF1. He was also Director of Programs at Endemol France, under the direction of Banijay’s founder, Stéphane Courbit.
In his new role, he will report to Banijay CEO Marco Bassetti and said: “Alexia has been a driving force for us in France for several years, and with the entrepreneurial and creative spirit that drives her, she is the perfect profile to lead our French operations from a highly respected strategist and knowledge to take the business to new heights as we seek to diversify and improve offerings. it will be invaluable.”
