Ton will surely be delighted with the latest picture of Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Storj. To ring in the new year, Netflix released a first look at young Lady Danbury, played by Arsema Thomas, for the coming year Bridgeton prequel limited series by Shonda Rhimes.
The photo, which you can see above, shows Arsema’s Lady Danbury standing outside with a fearsome look on her face as she confronts someone – although it’s unclear who she’s talking to. According to Netflix, the screenshot is from episode 6 of the series.
“Under the thumb of her much older husband, Agatha uses Charlotte’s arrival to carve her own path in society. With a keen knowledge of the once divided social life and the intricacies of marriage, Agatha becomes a beacon for the new queen as she finds her own voice and strength that we will soon discover Bridgeton“iconic Lady Danbury” is a description of the streamer.
The Bridgerton prequel focuses on Queen Charlotte’s rise to fame and power. The series tells the story of how the young Queen’s marriage to King George led to both a wonderful love story and social change, creating the world of clay that the characters in Bridgeton.
Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), Adjoa Andoh (Lady Agatha Danbury) and Ruth Gemmell (Lady Violet Bridgerton) also reprise their roles Bridgeton in this series, alongside Michelle Fairley as Princess Augusta, Corey Mylchreest as Young King George and Arsema Thomas as Young Agatha Danbury. The cast is Sam Clemmett as Young Brimsley, Freddie Dennis as Reynolds, Richard Cunningham as Lord Bute, Tunji Kasim as Adolphus, Rob Maloney as the Royal Doctor, Cyril Nri as Lord Danbury and Hugh Sachs as Brimsley (older).
Rhimes is a writer and showrunner and co-produces with Betsy Beers and Tom Verica, who also directs.
