Is this the WORST chair in the US? Arizona Stadium has a field that “blocks 90 percent of the field” and has no graphics card, as fans warn others to “avoid the field at all costs.”

At yesterday’s Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl, a fan spotted what might be the worst field in all of college football.

User @CFBcampustour sent his followers a message about a specific seat at Arizona Stadium in Tucson.

Section 16, row 41, seat 2 is marked “avoid at all costs!” for every game played on this site. The account owner calls it “one of the WORST seats in any college football stadium in the country.”

Sight lines allow the occupant to see only one corner of the end zone – and nothing else

The report claimed the seat had a 10 percent view of the field, with footage showing only a sliver of the end zone.

The user also pointed out that the location has no view of the video board.

Originally built on the University of Arizona campus in 1929, the stadium has been home to the school’s football team ever since.

The site’s initial capacity was 7,000 people, but it was gradually expanded and renovated over the next few years.

The last increase in seating capacity was in 1988 when luxury boxes were built along with a new press gallery.

Arizona Stadium’s current capacity is listed as 50,800 as of 2019 – with a previous peak capacity of 57,800 in the mid-1990s.

A rivalry game against Arizona State University on November 23, 1996 drew a record attendance of 59,920.

Earlier this year, the same Twitter account saw similar poor visibility at Waldo Stadium – home of Western Michigan University. These seats look like they are tucked away in a corner and have been dubbed the “hockey penalty box”.

Another bad example is a bill found at Ohio Stadium – home of Ohio State University. In the Southeast, the University of Tennessee has similar problems.

In this year’s version of the Arizona Bowl, Ohio University took on the University of Wyoming. Ohio was victorious, winning 30-27.
