One mom told how to reduce the time it takes to dry wet laundry with a simple trick in the washing machine.
The woman shared the “genius” hack with the Moms Cleaning Facebook group, saying she discovered the trick when she visited her family.
Our recommendation is to add an extra step to your washing routine by activating the spin cycle when the wash is finished.
This reduces the amount of moisture in the clothes and the time it takes for the clothes to dry.

Confused. I recently went to do laundry there with my elderly family,” she wrote online.
‘My mother told me: ‘Don’t forget to come back after your period is over.’
“I asked him why. His reaction was that it would take less time to dry the laundry on a cold winter day with less sun. And guess what, he was right!’
After returning to rainy Sydney, the woman tried to cut a bunch of towels before drying them.
‘Normally it takes one and a half to two hours for the load to dry. They took just under 60 minutes,” he said.

Other moms immediately praised the idea after it was shared online.
“It takes days for my laundry to dry on the clothesline hoping this will fix the problem!” Written by a woman.
“Run to my washing machine to turn the towels one more time!” added another one.
The third said: ‘What a great idea! I’ll do it now too!’
While the idea seemed revolutionary to many, some claimed to have used the tactic “for years”.
“I’ve been doing this for about three years. It’s great. I do it even in the summer,” one person wrote, while another added: “I do it too, like four extra rounds. All year. My mom said, so I do it.”
