In a study of 116 postmenopausal women with vaginal dryness, consuming three grams of sea buckthorn oil per day for three months was associated with significant improvements in vaginal tissue integrity.
DHEA
DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) is a hormone produced by the adrenal glands in your body.
“Some people use DHEA supplements that they claim can improve sex drive, build muscle, fight the effects of aging and improve certain health conditions,” WebMD says.
For postmenopausal women, suppositories containing the hormone DHEA can reduce vaginal dryness, discomfort, and pain during sex without increasing overall estrogen levels, the researchers report.
