Adam Sandler announced that filming on the second episode of Happy Gilmore has been completed, confirming Eminem’s involvement in the project. According to him, the rapper will play a cameo role.
“I’ve known Eminem for a long time and he’s a great guy. He came and was very funny. We spent the whole day with him and it was crazy. He said so many things that we could use in the movie,” Adam shared on The Dan Patrick Show. The rapper is expected to make a guest appearance.
Sandler signaled that Happy Gilmore 2 will be released in 2025. In addition to Adam, Ben Stiller, Christopher McDonald and Julie Bowen also returned to their roles. Newcomers to the comedy will include Margaret Qualley (“Substance”), musician Bad Bunny, rapper Kid Cudi and others.
Let’s remember that the first part of the movie, which was released in 1996, was about Happy Gilmore, who hates golf. But life brings him to a paid tournament. As a result, the blow of the hero of the film turns into the strongest blow in history.
