Don’t plan anything for June 13, we did it for you. Tony Goldwyn’s movie “Daddy” will premiere in theaters today. The film tells the touching story of an autistic child and his father who learn to accept each other’s world and themselves within it. Judging by the trailer, you’ll need to stock up on tissues.

The life of stand-up comedian Max (Bobby Cannavale) leaves a lot to be desired (well, depending on how you look at it): he’s unsuccessful, his wife (Rose Byrne) is planning a divorce, so he has to move out. He is with his father (Robert De Niro), who does not like him.

He and his wife are raising their 11-year-old son Ezra, who lives with autism. Max will do anything to be a good father to her. When the boy is once again expelled from school, the hero takes him on a journey to show him life and learn to see each other’s world as it is (spoiler: it’s beautiful).

The film also stars Vera Farmiga, Whoopi Goldberg, Rainn Wilson, Tony Goldwyn and others. Watch the movie’s trailer while we wait for the premiere!
