The truth is, one of the publishing house’s editors, Jeremy Clarkson, wrote in his article that the Duchess of Sussex should be showered naked and dung on the streets. He also added that all of his “peers think the same way”.
Readers did not like the journalist’s statements. Some have even begun to file complaints with the Independent Press Standards Organization (IPSO). More than 60 British MPs demanded The Sun take firm action against Clarkson. What are the consequences? The company and Clarkson had to apologize to members of the royal family and remove the post.
Jeremy Clarkson wrote in an unfortunate reference to the Game of Thrones scene on his Twitter account, adding that “I am horrified to have caused so much pain and will be more careful in the future.”
