And Will Ferrell proved once again that he’s a loyal fan as he sat courtside on Friday to watch his basketball team, the LA Lakers, take on the Charlotte Hornets.
The 55-year-old actor stood out from the crowd in a purple Lakers Christmas sweater and matching bobble hat.

The father and son duo enjoyed some popcorn while cheering on their team over the holiday season.
Will and Paulin, who tied the knot in 2000, share three children: Magnus (18), Mattias (15) and Axel (12).

It comes after Will recently revealed he “finally had market value” for Asda’s Christmas advert featuring Eleven.
The actor gained international fame as Buddy in the 2003 Christmas film Elf.
Film and entertainment studio Warner Bros., which owns the rights to Buddy, specifically licensed the popular character for the ad, which combines footage from the original film and overshot scenes.

Speaking to Yahoo Entertainment UK, the Step Brothers actor was asked about the brand new Christmas commercial he’s starring in, when he revealed: “Well… it kind of helped me finally get some market value when I was filming Eleven .”
Will then turned back to the ad itself and said, “I thought it was well done.”
While Will’s recent performance as Buddy had fans of the popular Christmas film wondering if he would return to the role in a second film, the comedian played down expectations.
He said: “No, it seems strange to me, a 55-year-old man running around in tights. I think Eleven is a separate entity.’

The brand new Christmas advert features Will in full elf costume when Buddy turns up at an Asda store to be tested as a seasonal recruit, recruited to help out during the busy period leading up to Christmas.
But while full of joy and enthusiasm, Buddy’s test drive is chaotic and sees him taking breaks to chat with the other Asda employees, jump around the store and eat the pigs on display.
Asda’s tempting Christmas range will be on display throughout the store. After hours, Buddy stays up late to make the store even more festive with Christmas lights, garlands, gingerbread houses and a giant Christmas tree.
