Kate remembered the incident with the actress. The assistant was supposed to go full time instead of part time. For this, she asked the actor for a bonus of $50,000, which is half of his normal salary. According to her, the actress lost her temper when she heard about it. “She jumped out of her chair, how dare you ask for a salary like that, she brought her face within an inch of mine. She thought that gave her the right to spit in my face,” James recalls.
However, Kate treats Johnny Depp positively and sees him as a good person. To him, he was always a “true southern gentleman” and seemed to him a “peaceful, almost shy and very quiet” person. James stated that he had never seen her lose her temper.
She also said she had “never” seen Heard with black eyes, cuts, bumps, and other injuries the actress had previously complained about in court.
