The Lincoln Center film named Sarah Eaton, a film industry veteran and former director of media relations at the Sundance Institute, vice president of marketing and communications.
He will lead the development and implementation of strategies to support the FLC’s mission, programs and initiatives, reporting directly to Leslie Kleinberg, president of the organization. In addition to its repertoire and year-round commercials, FLC is known for its annual screening at the New York Film Festival.
The press release states that Eaton will oversee teams focused on cultivating marketing, advertising and communications, cultivating brand and audience, and community engagement.
Executive joins FLC Solomon R. from the Guggenheim Museum and Foundation, where he has worked since 2015. As Senior Director of Marketing and Communications, he has led the development of the marketing and press plans for all exhibitions and initiatives and has also contributed to planning. Early in his career he was a film publicist at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and worked in the press service of the New York Film Festival.

According to the organizers, the festival will run from 30 September to 16 October.
