Ashley Judd reveals how she met her rapist for a ‘conciliatory’ conversation

Ashley Judd, who has survived three rapes in her life, said she was dating one of her rapists. The actress spoke about this on the “Healing with David Kessler” podcast.
Judd said that several years after the 1999 rape, she was “trying to find” her attacker and that the attacker “showed up very easily”, which allowed her to arrange a meeting with him.

The actress added that she “had the opportunity to do her healing work through her trauma and grief.”
Judd also said that the rape experience caused her to “lose confidence”.

At the 2019 World Women’s Summit, Judd announced that one of the rapes resulted in her getting pregnant, which forced her to have an abortion.
