Nicki Minaj accidentally announced she was pregnant but quickly denied it

Two years ago, Nicki Minaj became a mother for the first time. She had a son with Kenneth Petty. But now is not the best period in her husband’s life. Not so long ago, the court convicted him and placed Kenneth under house arrest: After serving four years in prison for raping a 16-year-old girl, he failed to register as a sex offender in California. Niki did not react in any way to the fact that her husband’s freedom was again limited. And apparently, he’s not too worried about this situation.

She even shocked her fans by announcing that she was pregnant the day before. And the singer did this completely by accident. At the Wireless Festival, some viewers noted that Nicki Minaj had gained some weight. One of the fans decided to ask a rather wrong question about the possible pregnancy of the rap artist, to which he answered affirmatively. But then Minaj immediately realized that she had said something wrong.

“Wait. I just wanted to say I’m fat, not pregnant,” Nicki Minaj admitted.

Recall that Petty and Minaj started dating when Nicky was just 16 years old. Then the couple separated until 2018. Officially married since October 2019. At the end of September 2020, the couple had a son. Petty, 42, was also convicted of murder a few years ago.

She served four years in prison and is considered a level two sex offender in New York State, which means she’s at risk of repeat crime. He spent seven years behind bars and was released in 2013, but was on probation until 2018.
