Russian thriller “Fisher” continues to fascinate international audiences. This time, the project received the Best TV Program award at the Italian film festival Onirica Film Festival.
The award ceremony took place at the Garibaldi cinema in the city of Carrara for the series, which stands out with its drama level and quality production. The project was previously celebrated in Italy at the San Lorenzo Film Festival (in the Best Web Series category) and in the US at the Annual Hollywood Series, where it was recognized as the best thriller series. The thriller has already been screened in the world’s biggest film markets (Berlin, Cannes and Hong Kong).
“Fisher” is not only a successful Russian project, this story turned out to be understandable and relevant to viewers far beyond the borders of Russia. Powerful drama, a charismatic hero and a high level of production made it a shining example of domestic content that can confidently compete on the European stage,” reports the Telegram channel of Art Pictures Distribution, which distributed the project.
Let us remind you that the premiere of the first season of “Fisher” took place in February 2023 at the Wink online cinema. The main roles in the series were played by Ivan Yankovsky, Alexandra Bortich and Alexander Yatsenko. Its second season aired in the spring of 2025, and soon after, the series was renewed for a third and fourth season.
