Pavel Lungin, known for its “Lady Pick” projects, is preparing a large -scale film project that promises to be one of the most debated prime ministers of 2026. The director plans to remove the psychological thriller about the Russian writer not only in the biography of the great poem, but also with an accent surrounding him until his death.
The film will talk about Lermontov’s basic moments: creative path, the last duel in the Caucasus and the War of the Valeriik River. But he will not do without mysticism – according to the scenario, he will follow the poet Fatum’s image as a mysterious black man. Petersburg2.ru will become a symbol of the apocalypse, such as the shadow of fate that accompanies the hero throughout history.
Among the possible participants in the project, Maxim Matveev, who was exposed to the role of Elizabeth Bazykin or Sofia Sinitsyn as well as Lermontov’s friend and murderer Nikolai Martynov, can play Ekaterina Sushkov, one of them.
